Challenge

The Flemish Government faced challenges including limited access to suppliers, slow contractor onboarding, high costs, and a lack of transparency and flexibility. The complexity of managing diverse procedures across multiple legal entities and a large contingent workforce created an urgent need for streamlined processes and increased transparency.
Solution
Combination of a Vendor Management System (CE VMS), a Marketplace (CE MP) & a Managed Service Provider (MSP): CE VMS structured, digitised & optimised the processes through one platform for all entities. CE MP provided all involved stakeholders with a real time, direct access to suppliers & freelancers. MSP served as a neutral single point of contact delivering HR, sourcing & administrative services.
